Welcome to the home page of The Chartered Institute of Marketing, Thames Valley Branch. As your Branch Chairman I would like to thank you for your support for the Institute and would encourage you to become actively involved in your Branch. The more you engage, the more you get out of your membership. Active involvement could take the form of becoming Chartered attending local or Branch meetings or joining your committee as a Branch Activist.
The vision of the Chartered Institute of Marketing is to be the leading international professional marketing body and as your local branch we operate to provide you with an opportunity for marketers to meet, talk, gather information and discuss matters of mutual interest with other professionals. Our membership consists of students, new entrants and seasoned professional and consultants.
We provide an opportunity to meet and listen to leading professional via our business meetings and give drive to your continuing professional development through our monthly programme.
As your member branch we provide:
Encouragement to all marketers and other who do marketing work to join their Institute
Seminars, presentation and workshops to support CPD – which assists in gaining your Chartered status
Joint initiatives with local industry, government bodies and other membership organization
Student support with Continuous Professional Development, fellowship and interesting meetings and social events
